Broadband Plus is pleased to announce that it will be offering the ADSL High Speed Internet Service.

The service is currently available in main Central Offices. Additional Central Offices will be added gradually to cover major cities and areas.
The speed over regular copper phone lines is limited by the way telephone switches process the signal, not making use of the actual copper lines capabilities. Using the existing copper wires of your phone line with Digital Technology, the Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) combines the phone signal with up to 25 Mbps (Mega bits per second) of data over a single twisted pair copper line (phone line), depending on the line distance and quality.

The ADSL does not require any additional wiring. With an ADSL modem, and for a fixed monthly fee, subscribers will enjoy very high speed, 24 hours a day over their existing phone line while still using this line for the regular metered voice conversations at the same time.

To request the service, you will need to fill in Broadband Plus's ADSL Registration Form.

A Broadband Plus representative will contact you if or when the service is available in your area. The representative will ask you to visit the nearest point of sale to fill and sign an application.

Conditions to obtain the service

To request the service, you will need to apply with Broadband Plus. To be eligible for the service request, the following conditions must be met:

Case of phone line owned by an individual:

1. Have a fixed phone line (01, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 or 09)
2. Provide a copy of your Personal Identification Card
3. Provide a copy of your last phone bill
4. Fill in Broadband Plus's application form
5. Complete and sign a delegation form allowing Broadband Plus to apply on your behalf for the port-phone line interconnection.

NOTE: the applicant signing the form must be the phone line owner. If not, you must provide a delegation from the phone line owner to the applicant, authenticated by a notary public.

Case of phone line owned by a company:

1. Have a fixed phone line (01, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 or 09)
2. Provide the circular of the signatories of the company
   ( إذاعة تجارية ).
3. Provide a copy of a delegation to the applicant signed by one of the persons whose signatures appear on the circular of the signatories of the company
4. Provide a copy of the Personal Identification Card of the person who signed the delegation to the applicant
5. Provide a copy of the applicant Personal Identification Card.
6. Provide a copy of the last phone bill
7. Fill in Broadband Plus's application form
8. Complete and sign a delegation form allowing Broadband Plus to apply on your behalf for the port-phone line interconnection.
   

Once the process is completed, Broadband Plus will contact you to install the ADSL modem and activate your ADSL subscription.
